B.Sc Anaesthesia Technology is a 3-year program training students to assist anesthesiologists in administering and monitoring anesthesia during surgical procedures. Anaesthesia technicians prepare anaesthesia machines, draw up drugs, manage airways, and monitor vital signs during surgery. With over 20 million surgeries performed annually in India, anaesthesia technicians are essential team members. The role carries high responsibility and requires thorough knowledge of drugs, airway devices, and life support systems.

• 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology • Minimum 45% marks • No NEET required • Age: 17–25 years • Good concentration and manual dexterity

Year 1: • Anatomy & Physiology • Pharmacology – Anaesthetic Drugs • Anaesthesia Machine – Basics • Medical Gases & Oxygen Therapy • Airway Management Basics • Patient Monitoring Introduction Year 2: • General Anaesthesia Techniques • Regional Anaesthesia (Spinal/Epidural) • Paediatric Anaesthesia Basics • Intensive Care Unit Basics • Pain Management • Equipment Maintenance & Calibration Year 3: • Cardiac Anaesthesia • Neuro Anaesthesia • Obstetric Anaesthesia • Post-Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU) • Difficult Airway Management • Anaesthesia Research & Quality • Internship – 12 months OT rotation
